The
AIA Buffalo/Western New York, the local chapter of the American
Institute of Architects, recently presented the Graycliff Conservancy with
a check in the amount of $500. The donation represents this year's proceeds
from the AIA's fundraising efforts and was awarded to the Graycliff Conservancy
for "actively defending and preserving one of the region's great architectural
treasures, the Isabelle R. Martin House (Graycliff) designed by Frank Lloyd
Wright."
The
American Institute of Architects is the representative association for architects
in Buffalo and Western New York with a mission to support improvement to the
built environment. AIA Chapter President Christopher F. Less, a Vice President
with Canon Architects and Engineers, announce the contribution at a recent reception
held at Graycliff.
